The Five Words Epic

I have spent a fair amount of time in many various forums. I have always enjoyed the "Forum Games" topic because it is fun, thought provoking, ridiculous and challenging among other qualities. One of the more appealing aspects of forum games is the ability to easily increase your personal "Post Count" (if you happen to care about such things) by simply playing along.

Of all the various Forum Games, my favorite has always been the "Five Word Story" type. Therefore would like to offer this version that I call The Five Words Epic. The rules are really quite simple: Continue the story using exactly five words. Your Five Words must begin where the previous post leaves off. The point being to tell a story when read from the beginning. So I begin with...

He pops in irregularly. I'd say for it to actually become a story there has to be a stop to a sentence sometimes :)
